Savory Turmeric Sipping Broth
A warm, clear broth you can sip slowly between mouthfuls or on its own — gentle hydration and electrolytes with turmeric and garlic doing quiet anti-inflammatory work.
Gentle for nausea, fatigue, a sore mouth.
Ingredients
- 6 cups low-sodium vegetable broth
- 2 cloves garlic, smashed
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, sliced
- ½ tsp ground turmeric
- 1 pinch black pepper
- 1 pinch sea salt
- 1 tsp white miso (optional, stirred in off the heat)
How to make it
- Simmer the broth with the garlic, ginger, turmeric, and black pepper 15 minutes.
- Strain if you'd like it perfectly clear.
- Off the heat, whisk in the miso if using.
- Sip slowly and warm — a mug at a time is plenty.
