Warm Pear & Ginger Nectar

Smooth pear nectar is one of the kindest things to swallow with a sore throat, and a little ginger settles the stomach at the same time. Serve just warm — never hot.

Gentle for a sore mouth, nausea.

Ingredients

How to make it

  1. Simmer the pears in the water with the ginger 8–10 minutes, until very soft.
  2. Blend until completely smooth.
  3. Thin to a sippable nectar and warm gently — not hot.
  4. Dust with a little cinnamon and sip slowly.
