Cool Greek Yogurt Parfait
Cold and tart, which helps override a metallic taste, while the smooth yogurt soothes a sore mouth and delivers easy protein.
Gentle for metallic taste, a sore mouth, low appetite.
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup plain Greek yogurt (pasteurized)
- 1/3 cup soft fruit (banana, ripe berries, peach)
- 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- Optional: a little granola if mouth is okay
How to make it
- Spoon half the yogurt into a glass.
- Add a layer of soft fruit and a drizzle of honey.
- Repeat layers.
- Serve cold; add granola only on top, only if comfortable to chew.
- Tip: Tart/cold flavors often taste 'right' when metal taste hits. Leave out granola for a tender mouth.
