Chilled Cucumber-Avocado Soup
Served cold with no cooking, it soothes a sore mouth and avoids cooking smells that trigger nausea. Avocado makes it rich and calorie-dense; a splash of lime lifts a metallic taste.
Gentle for a sore mouth, metallic taste, nausea.
Ingredients
- 1 cucumber, peeled & chopped
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 1/2 cup cold water
- Squeeze of lime
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Optional: fresh mint
How to make it
- Add all ingredients to a blender.
- Blend until silky smooth.
- Thin with a little cold water if needed.
- Chill 20 min; serve cold.
- Tip: No stove means no smells — helpful on a nauseous day. Ease up on the lime if the mouth is very sore.
