Creamy Butternut Squash Soup (No Tomato)

Naturally sweet, silky, and non-acidic (no tomato or citrus to sting a sore mouth). Mild aroma keeps nausea at bay, and it's smooth enough to sip from a mug.

Gentle for a sore mouth, nausea, low appetite.

Ingredients

How to make it

  1. Soften onion in oil in a pot, ~5 min.
  2. Add squash and broth; simmer until tender, ~20 min.
  3. Blend until completely smooth.
  4. Stir in milk; warm gently. Serve warm, not hot.
  5. Tip: Blend very smooth for a sore mouth. Mild smell makes it one of the more nausea-friendly cooked meals.
