Whipped Banana & Cottage Cheese Mousse
Cottage cheese is an excellent source of protein, but its natural curds can feel abrasive against open mouth sores. Blending it down with a ripe banana transforms it into a smooth, airy mousse that delivers calcium and protein with zero friction.
Gentle for a sore mouth, low appetite.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup low-sodium cottage cheese
- 1/2 very ripe banana
- 1 tsp honey
How to make it
- Place the cottage cheese, banana, and honey into a small blender or food processor.
- Blend on high for a full 60 seconds until the curds vanish completely and the mixture is silkier than yogurt.
- Chill in the refrigerator for 10 minutes to provide a soothing, cool temperature for the mouth.
