Vanilla Bean Chia Gel
When chia seeds are completely hydrated, they form a slick, gel-like coating. Blending the mixture ensures there are no tiny seeds left to get trapped in painful mouth ulcers, leaving behind a smooth, cooling snack.
Gentle for a sore mouth.
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 3/4 cup unsweetened oat milk
- 1/2 tsp alcohol-free vanilla extract
- 1 tsp maple syrup
How to make it
- Combine all ingredients in a jar, shake well, and let sit in the fridge overnight until a thick gel forms.
- Transfer the mixture to a high-speed blender and process until completely smooth and creamy.
- Serve cold straight from the refrigerator to help numb mouth pain.
