Spiced Cardamom Quinoa Porridge

Quinoa is exceptionally high in protein compared to other grains. Cardamom is a warming spice traditionally used to naturally stimulate digestion and gently pique a sluggish appetite.

Gentle for low appetite.

How to make it

  1. Combine rinsed quinoa, almond milk, and water in a small saucepan and bring to a boil.
  2. Stir in the ground cardamom, reduce heat to low, cover, and let simmer for 15 minutes.
  3. Once the liquid is absorbed and the quinoa is fluffy, remove from heat.
  4. Drizzle with maple syrup and serve warm in a small bowl.
