Soothing Maple Rice Flour Gruel
Rice flour cooked into a thin porridge is an ancient comfort food for delicate systems. It is entirely smooth, hypo-allergenic, neutral in flavor, and creates a soothing coating over sensitive mouth and throat tissues.
Gentle for a sore mouth, nausea.

- 1 cup almond milk or water
- 1 tsp pure maple syrup
How to make it
- Whisk the rice flour into cold almond milk or water in a small pot until dissolved.
- Place over medium-low heat and bring to a gentle simmer, whisking constantly as it instantly thickens.
