Soothing Avocado-Banana Mash
When swallowing hurts or mouth sores are present, texture is everything. This mash requires zero chewing, is served cold/room temp (which minimizes pain), and is packed with healthy fats and potassium to provide dense calories when appetite is low.

Ingredients
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 tbsp almond milk (unflavored, unsweetened)
How to make it
- Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a medium bowl.
- Peel the banana and add it to the bowl.
- Use a fork or potato masher to blend them together until completely smooth.
- Stir in the almond milk to achieve a silkier, easy-to-swallow consistency.
