Soft Bone-Broth Poached Egg Whites
Egg whites are purely protein and contain no sulfur compounds found in the yolk that can sometimes trigger nausea. Poaching them directly in chicken bone broth keeps them incredibly moist and gives them a mild, savory flavor that requires zero chewing.
Gentle for a sore mouth, nausea.
Ingredients
- 2 large egg whites
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken bone broth
How to make it
- Bring the chicken bone broth to a gentle simmer in a small pan.
- Pour the egg whites carefully into the simmering broth.
- Let poach for 2–3 minutes until the whites are fully opaque and soft. Lift out gently and serve lukewarm.
