Power-Packed Pumpkin Seed Brittle Bites

Pumpkin seeds are incredibly high in zinc, a mineral critical for maintaining a normal sense of taste and appetite. These tiny, concentrated bites offer high reward for very little chewing effort.

How to make it

  1. Toast the pumpkin seeds in a dry skillet over medium heat for 2–3 minutes until they start to pop.
  2. Pour in the maple syrup and salt, stirring quickly as it bubbles and thickens (about 1 minute).
  3. Pour the sticky mixture onto a sheet of parchment paper, flatten it out, and let it cool completely until hardened before breaking into bite-sized pieces.
