Maple-Pecan Soft Warm Oats
Small portions of warm, aromatic foods can comfort a resistant stomach. Cooking oats with finely ground pecans infuses the porridge with hidden, energy-dense fats that support stamina when you can only manage a few spoonfuls.

Ingredients
- 1/3 cup quick-cooking oats
- 2/3 cup water or milk of choice
- 1 tbsp finely ground pecans
- 1 tsp pure maple syrup
How to make it
- Bring water or milk to a boil in a small saucepan.
- Stir in the quick oats and ground pecans. Reduce heat to low and cook for 3–4 minutes.
- Remove from heat, stir in the maple syrup, and let cool slightly before eating.
