How to make it

  1. Combine the rinsed red lentils, vegetable broth, and cumin in a small pot and bring to a boil.
  2. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes until the lentils are completely mushy and falling apart.
  3. Stir in the olive oil, then run the soup through a blender until completely smooth so it can be sipped effortlessly from a mug.
