Frozen Honey-Chamomile Ice Chips
Chamomile is widely recognized for its gentle, anti-spasmodic properties that help calm a churning, nauseous stomach. Freezing the tea into soft ice chips allows you to slowly melt them in your mouth, providing essential hydration while numbing mouth pain and reducing inflammation.
Gentle for nausea, a sore mouth.
Ingredients
- 2 chamomile tea bags
- 2 cups boiling water
- 1 tsp mild honey
How to make it
- Steep the chamomile tea bags in 2 cups of boiling water for 7–8 minutes to ensure a robust infusion.
- Remove the tea bags and stir in the honey until completely dissolved. Let the mixture cool to room temperature.
- Pour the cooled tea into a shallow plastic container or an ice cube tray.
- Freeze for about 3 hours. If using a shallow container, scrape the frozen tea with a fork to create soft, slushy ice flakes. Pop a small flake or chip in your mouth to melt slowly.
