Creamy Vanilla Cream of Wheat
Cream of Wheat has a completely uniform, micro-smooth texture that requires absolutely no chewing. Made with milk, it provides a gentle, non-irritating base that coats the mouth, and adding vanilla creates an inviting aroma without using spices that cause burning.
Gentle for a sore mouth.
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp Cream of Wheat (farina)
- 1 cup whole milk or vanilla soy milk
- 1/2 tsp alcohol-free vanilla extract
- 1 tsp pure maple syrup
How to make it
- Bring the milk to a gentle simmer in a small saucepan over medium heat.
- Slowly whisk in the Cream of Wheat to prevent any lumps from forming.
- Reduce heat to low and cook for 3 minutes, stirring constantly, until smooth and thick.
- Remove from heat, stir in the alcohol-free vanilla and maple syrup, and let it cool completely to room temperature before eating.
