Creamy Pear & Rice Farina
Rice farina creates an ultra-smooth, fine porridge that is incredibly easy to swallow. Stirring in fully pureed canned pears adds soft, low-acid carbohydrates that provide quick energy without causing any stinging in raw oral tissues.
Gentle for a sore mouth, nausea.
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp fine rice farina (Cream of Rice)
- 1 cup plain oat milk
- 1/4 cup canned pear puree (smooth)
How to make it
- Bring the oat milk to a gentle boil in a small saucepan.
- Gradually whisk in the rice farina to prevent clumping and turn the heat to low.
- Simmer for 2–3 minutes while stirring continuously until thick and smooth.
- Remove from heat, stir in the smooth pear puree, and allow it to cool to room temperature before serving.
