Creamy Coconut Milk Farina
Light canned coconut milk offers rich, clean fats that help coat a sensitive mouth and throat. Cooking fine farina in coconut milk creates a velvety, non-sticky porridge that delivers dense calories easily.
Gentle for a sore mouth, low appetite.
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp fine farina (Cream of Wheat)
- 1 cup light coconut milk (from a carton)
- 1/2 tsp maple syrup
How to make it
- Heat the coconut milk in a small saucepan over medium heat.
- Gradually whisk in the farina to ensure no lumps develop.
- Simmer on low for 3 minutes while stirring, remove from heat, stir in the maple syrup, and let cool.
