Cooling Cardamom Rice Flour Porridge
White rice flour cooked down in almond milk creates a completely smooth, grainless gruel. Infusing it with a tiny dust of ground cardamom helps comfort a restless stomach and stimulate digestion without adding harsh or fiery spices.
Gentle for nausea, a sore mouth.
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp white rice flour
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- A minute pinch of ground cardamom
- 1 tsp honey
How to make it
- Whisk the white rice flour into the cold almond milk in a small saucepan until completely dissolved.
- Heat over medium-low, stirring constantly as it instantly thickens into a smooth paste.
- Remove from heat, stir in the cardamom and honey, and let cool completely to room temperature.
