Cold Pear & Avocado Puree

Canned or perfectly ripe pears are naturally very low in acid, meaning they will not sting raw mouth tissues. Blending them with avocado provides a gentle dose of healthy, calorie-dense fats that digest slowly, helping to stabilize an unstable, nauseous stomach without requiring any chewing.

Gentle for a sore mouth, nausea.

Ingredients

How to make it

  1. Place the avocado halves and the drained canned pears into a blender or small food processor.
  2. Add 1 tablespoon of the reserved pear juice to help lubricate the blades.
  3. Blend on high until the mixture is completely uniform, smooth, and free of lumps.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to serve chilled for a numbing, comforting effect on the throat.
