Chicken-Infused Golden Congee

White rice is simmered until it completely breaks down into a comforting, easy-to-swallow porridge. Infusing it with chicken bone broth and just a tiny shred of tender chicken breast creates a light, low-odor protein option that is incredibly gentle on a sensitive stomach.

Gentle for nausea, a sore mouth.

How to make it

  2. Reduce heat to low, cover with a lid, and simmer for 35–40 minutes until the rice is velvety and broken down.
  3. Stir in the finely shredded chicken breast and cook for 2 minutes until hot. Let cool to a comfortable lukewarm temperature before eating.
